Questions before you start

Can you repair termite-damaged timber?

We can assess the visible carpentry damage and discuss a repair scope. Pest treatment needs to be addressed with a pest professional, and concealed damage may only become clear once the area is opened.

Can you alter a wall or create a new opening?

The existing structure must be assessed first. Any required engineering, design, approvals or other licensed work will be identified before the work is agreed.

What do you need to prepare a quote?

Send photos of the area and surrounding structure, approximate dimensions, your suburb and any available plans or engineering details. A site inspection is normally needed for structural repair work.

Who completes work outside your carpentry scope?

MakeOver Construction undertakes work within Carpentry Contractor Licence 500936C. Work requiring another licence is completed by appropriately licensed contractors, with responsibilities confirmed for the project.
